Following a highly successful concert on 18th October 2009, the choir was honoured to be invited to participate in the concert in support of Children in Need at Snape Maltings. This took place on Saturday 5th December 2009. The concert was recorded by BBC Radio Suffolk and a version played on air on Christmas Day.

The choir contributed three songs to a moving commemoration of the time spent at Pakefield Holiday Camp and Saint Felix School in 1939 by Jewish children brought ot England by the Kindertransport

Singing in German, Latin, Sotho and English, the choir was highly commended by the adjudicator, Lin Marsh, well-known nationally for her compositions and work with young people. "There are no passengers in this choir" she commented, congratulating the choir on singing unaccompanied at their first festival and predicting a promising future for them.
